Stephanie Goodwin is a self-taught artist with a God-given talent. She started sketching and illustrating at a very young age and has steadily increased her skills throughout the years. After receiving several recommendations from family and friends, she decided to turn her hobby into a career as an artist.
Stephanie’s painting style is a combination of vibrant colors and contrasting textures.
She focuses on the sensory nature of art, aiming to depict the emotions of everyday life. Her art has been described by many as “Happy Art” because you just can’t help but feel the happiness in her paintings.
Her paintings have been featured in several galleries and exhibitions such as the Levine Museum of the New South, the MOJA Arts Festival, Piccolo Spoleto, and the Penn Center’s York W. Bailey Museum. Additionally, Stephanie’s paintings have been featured in various print and online publications. She also served as guest speaker at Montreat College in Charlotte, NC to discuss the role of the artist and the entrepreneur. In 2008, Stephanie was selected as cover artist for the Arts Council of Beaufort County’s Harlem Renaissance Fundraiser. Stephanie’s paintings can be found in private collections throughout the US.
